Obviously Paul makes the case that we are to be baptized in the name of the one who was crucified for us; namely, Jesus Christ.

The trinitarian baptismal formula in Matthew 28:19 is absent in the Hebrew Shem Tov Version of Matthew (it only reads: “Go”, followed by “and teach them to carry out all the things…” in v. 20).

It’s never adhered to in the Book of Acts because the formula is spurious and was injected by Rome (just like 1. JN 5:7).
